Taking MS back to school

Our “Back to School” photo for 2018.

Catching the “Back to School” spirit, Jennifer and I remember the excitement that came with each new year.

Things like new clothes. An unopened box of 64 Crayola crayons, with the color sharpener in back. Promising yourself that this is the year you’re going to stay on top of your homework, get a good night sleep, eat breakfast each morning and get to school on time every single day.

Why limit this sense of renewal and hopes for working toward a better year to the school students? Adults, including those of us living with Multiple Sclerosis, need to embrace the same levels of enthusiasm to take on our days.

Get tips and insights for why and how you also can use this time of the year to refocus on living with MS in this recent episode of our online radio show A Couple Takes on MS featured on the MS & Me Radio Network.

  1. A new school year always made me a nervous wreck!
Great comparison between a new school year & another year with MS.
(Last week was my 22nd year of stumbling bliss)
