Sharing knowledge for the newly diagnosed with MS

Jennifer and I spend a lot of time on our blog writing about the things we are doing despite and in spite of our Multiple Sclerosis.

Our hope is that by showing what still is possible, these stories will help other people to move beyond their MS or whichever challenges they’re facing.

Here’s an oldie but a goodie of us living: A 2012 trip to Chicago for Dan’s 40th birthday.

These are the kinds of stories that were needed when we were first diagnosed with MS, and they’re the ones we still need to read now 20-some years later.

That’s what they are: Stories.

And we’ve had an opportunity to expand our writing and start sharing our perspectives, tips and lessons on a new blog: Life Effects by Teva.

The first article recently posted, and we are so excited to share it with you!

Here Are 7 Things We Want You To Know About MS offers encouraging insights for the newly diagnosed and for everyone who’s had MS for years.

Check it out, let us know what you think, and tell us the top thing you want others to know about MS.

You also can continue this conversation with us by tuning into our online radio program, “A Couple Takes on MS” on the MS & Me Radio Network. The latest episode, “Need to Know for the Newly Diagnosed” premieres at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, and will re-air at times throughout the week.
